New Single Family Home Construction Expected To Surge In 2015

Kimplinger.com reports that single family home construction and sales are expected to surge by 25% in 2015.  New home construction starts should hit 800,000 and new home sales to be at 545,000 by year-end.   National Association of Realtors Chief Economist Lawrence Yun estimates new construction starts for single family homes to increase 32% to 840,000 and new homes sales to rise 41% to 624,000.  Either way you look at it, this bodes well for businesses that that play an active role in anything that has to do with new home construction and sales.

We are seeing this firsthand with one of new clients, a Glass Fabrication Company that had outstanding growth in 2014 and as of Mid-January 2015 has out over $2 million in quotes for new 2015 projects.
